Sophie and Matt
How did you meet?
We met years ago through friends and I made the mistake of ghosting him afterwards. Fast forward a few years I found myself lurking on his instagram one day and decided to like an old photo and see what would happen. He was in my DMs within 0.05 seconds and asking to see me again. From there the rest is history, he started having a ring designed for me within 3 months of dating.
When and where did you get married?

The theme/aesthetic for your big day:
We wanted something elegant and timeless. The venue itself is so beautiful we didn't want to overpower it with styling.
The biggest source of inspiration while planning your wedding:
Instagram! I was constantly scanning wedding accounts and saving ideas and inspiration.
The most memorable moment from your day:
We had the haka presented to us by our guests after speeches. I can't even describe the magic in the room but I think the goosebumps that it left will forever be etched in my heart.
The biggest hit on the dance floor was:
We had a band playing old school covers, we felt it suited all ages but the absolute banger of the night was wagon wheel.
Tell us about the search for your dress:
The only place I tried gowns on was with Trish. I knew she would be designing my dream dress and have been a long time fan of her work. When I first went in I was only a few months postpartum and chose a style to be designed that I thought suited me then and she didn't let me down, she started drawing up the most amazing gown. A few weeks out from my wedding and after many F45 sessions I couldn't get a certain style dress out of my mind that always would have been what I would have worn had I not have had a baby so I decided to tell Trish about the dress I couldn't stop thinking about. She was amazing and created an entirely new dress for me 5 weeks out from the wedding and it is safe to say it had my grooms jaw dropping.
