A Babymoon in Paradise at our special place…
As many of you will know if you follow Trish Peng on socials - the Maldives has become a very special place For Tim and I.
After celebrating our honeymoon here and later returning for another unforgettable island escape, it felt only fitting that we would find ourselves back in this little corner of paradise one more time, this time for a much needed rest after a crazy month of touring our new collection, and a little reset before welcoming Baby Begg into the world! We wanted to take a moment to slow down, reconnect, and savour this season of life together. And honestly, we couldn't have imagined a more perfect babymoon.
With the help of our friends at Atoll Escapes, we embarked on a journey across three extraordinary Maldivian resorts, each offering something completely unique, yet equally magical.
Our first stop was Adaaran Prestige Vadoo, a romantic adults-only sanctuary just a short speedboat ride from Malé. Perched above crystal-clear waters, it felt like the perfect place to ease into island life. We spent our days soaking in endless ocean views, watching colourful fish swim beneath our villa, and embracing the slower pace that comes so naturally in the Maldives. There was something incredibly special about waking up surrounded by nothing but turquoise water and complete serenity.
From there, we boarded a seaplane and headed north to Heritance Aarah, where luxury and relaxation reached an entirely new level. The seaplane flight alone felt like something out of a dream!! Our overwater villa became our little sanctuary for the next few days. Between incredible dining experiences, peaceful walks along the beach, and afternoons spent simply enjoying each other's company, it felt like the perfect place to celebrate this chapter before becoming parents.
Our final stop brought us somewhere that already held a special place in our hearts — Madifushi Private Island. Returning to Madifushi felt a little like coming home!!
The island feels wonderfully removed from the outside world, allowing you to fully switch off and immerse yourself in the moment. Days drifted by with leisurely breakfasts, gentle swims, sunset walks, and quiet moments (before the chaos of mum-life begins!).
