How did you meet?
The old fashioned way - at a house party more than 9 years ago!

When and where did you get married?
5 November 2022 at the Glasshouse in Morningside, Auckland.

What was the theme/aesthetic of your big day?
We wanted our wedding to be modern, classy and minimalist. We chose a venue that was could speak for itself so we didn't go over the top with decorations.

What was the biggest source of inspiration while planning your wedding?
After attending many weddings over the years, we knew what type of vibe we wanted and what was important to us. The Glasshouse itself became a source of inspiration once as we locked it in. I've always loved black, gold and blush pink so it was amazing being able to incorporate that colour palette into the wedding in the Glasshouse amongst the lush green trees.  

The most memorable moment from your day...
We absolutely loved seeing the dance floor filled with all of our friends and family dancing together and having fun!

The biggest hit on the dance floor was...
Too many to choose from!

We honeymooned in...
We spent a couple of nights at Castaway Resort straight after the wedding and the plan is to visit Japan next year for an overseas honeymoon.

Did you always have an idea in mind of what you wanted your dress to look like?
I had always known I wanted a custom dress from Trish and I thought I knew what I wanted until I tried on dresses for the first time, once I tried on a few styles to know what I suited I knew what I wanted! The dress incorporates my personal style of the type of dresses I love to wear and I'm so happy that Trish could understand my vision and turn it into reality.
